DIY: Frappucino

Now that summer is here, it's time to put away the hot coffee, and explore iced varieties, but I think everyone agrees, $5 a cup is ridiculous. So I browsed the web, tried a few things out, and this is what I came up with.

Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 Cup crushed ice (or whole if your blender can handle it)
Brewed coffee (make it a bit strong since the ice will dilute it)
3/4 cup milk (I made one with 2%, and another with Soy milk, and both were good)
3 Tablespoons sugar (more or less depending on how sweet you like it)

Optional:
Syrup of your choice (I used caramel ice cream topping)
Whipped cream (to top)

Combine all ingredients in a blender, mix together until it reaches desired consistency. Top with whipped cream and/or more syrup if you want.

Enjoy!

DIY: Funky Lantern

Materials:
- Paper Lantern (I found one online for a couple bucks)
- Liquid Glue
- Paper (I used dictionary paper, but you could use comics, or notebook paper, or anything really)

1. Cut your paper into the shape you'd like to use, I cut one out, and then used it as a pattern to help me cut the rest.

2. Start out with your lantern assembled, and work your way from the bottom to the top of the lantern.

3. Apply a line of glue to the top of your paper, and glue it to the lantern, be sure to glue it on the right way, with the top of your paper the same way as the top of your lantern.

4. Continue gluing the paper onto your lantern until you've reached the top.

Tangle-free travel

I travel a lot, and my biggest pet peeve is getting to wherever it is I'm going, and finding all my jewelry in a HUGE mess.

Solution:
Get a pill container from the dollar store, and stash your earrings and necklaces in it.

Subtly Smoked

She is stunning! I have tried many colors on Sierra, but purple is new.
*Apply pencil liquid black liner all the way across the top lid and bottom lid...
*Shade dark purple in sideways V in the corners of the eyelid...
*Paint light purple or white in the inner corners of the eyes...

SKIN
*Contoured cheeks in rosy pink...
*take a thin brush, sweep upward...
*Take a fluffy brush and sweep circles from the apples up to the ear...

LIPS
*Red on the bottom...
*Pink on the top...
*Clear Gloss all over.
